Who We Are
AhiaAwka (which means “Awka’s Market” in Igbo) is Awka’s first locally-focused online marketplace platform. We’re not another generic classifieds site trying to serve the entire country – we’re built specifically for Awka, by people who understand Awka.
Why We Built This
For too long, Awka residents have struggled with disorganized Facebook groups, rampant scams, and no proper platform designed with our community in mind. We saw neighbors getting scammed, sellers struggling to reach buyers, and good people having bad experiences trying to buy and sell locally.
We decided to change that.
AhiaAwka was created to give Awka what it deserves – a professional, safe, and locally-focused marketplace where trust comes first and community matters
